How Bitly links work
Bitly maps a short code to an original destination. Kigi requests the short link, inspects public HTTP redirects, and reports the destination from the chain.
Can every Bitly link be bypassed?
Deleted, expired or restricted links may not return a usable location. Links can also have different destinations depending on context.
How to use this resolver
Use the exact bit.ly link, including capitalization in the short code if present.
Kigi checks available information without silently opening the destination in your browser. Some protected links still require interaction with their original provider.
