Privacy
What happens when you paste a URL.
Resolution cache
Kigi derives a keyed fingerprint of the source URL for lookups. The cache stores an encrypted destination for up to seven days. No plaintext source URL history is written to that application cache.
Provider health checks
To report working or degraded providers, a small random sample of requests records only the provider name, success/failure category and day. No link, destination, URL hash, IP address or personal identifier is written to the health dataset. Sampled monitoring events are deleted after approximately three days.
Hosting logs
Kigi cannot promise that no technical logs exist. Vercel, your browser and destination providers may process network request data.
Analytics and anti-abuse
Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a privacy-focused beacon without cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may process browser signals for abuse protection when enabled. Neither receives your pasted links from the Kigi application.
Advertising
When configured, the home page may display a clearly labeled sponsored link or an AADS iframe loaded from acceptable.a-ads.com. AADS says its banners do not set cookies before a click, but displaying a third-party iframe still sends your browser's IP address and technical request data to that provider. Kigi does not share the links you submit with advertisers. Review AADS privacy information before clicking an ad. Advertising is not required to use Kigi.
Supporter access
Manual supporter codes are signed with a server secret and expire after the period issued, typically 365 days. The activation code is stored in an HttpOnly, Secure browser cookie. Payment verification is performed manually using the payment provider's records, and relevant email or Discord messages are handled by those services.
